Dear Members,

The Metta retreat led by Ariya Baumann is coming to a close these days; it brought together a truly international group, including many young people who were experiencing the practice for the first time.

We are preparing to welcome Federica La Rosa and Gautam Verma in October, ahead of the long, intensive retreat in November led by Ayya Viranani.

2027 calendar – registration

The 2027 calendar has been published online on our new website and can be viewed at the following link: https://www.piandeiciliegi.it/en/program-2027/.

Registration will be available through our website, www.piandeiciliegi.it, starting Sunday, January 17, 2026, at 8:00 a.m.

In order to be able to book a retreat, you need log in to the website and be a member. Please note that all users who had login credentials to access the center’s page but were not registered members will now need to create a new account in order to access the site.  

Registration on the site now takes place at the same time as the application to become a member.

Please click on “Become a Member” in the top right corner of the site to create your profile in the site. This procedure has been modified to simplify the registration process.

Please note that some retreats may fill up very quickly, but don’t forget that you can always send an email to info@piandeiciliegi.it to be added to the waiting list if the retreat you’re interested in is already full.

Fundraising: Help Us Purchase the Pian dei Ciliegi Building

As many of you know, we have decided to purchase the center’s main building, the one that houses the meditation hall, the dining room, and the bedrooms.

So far, we have been able to carry out all our activities thanks to the generosity of those who have hosted us at the facility, but we are now facing a decisive step for the future of the Center.

Purchasing the main building will allow us to achieve greater stability and continuity in our projects.

For this reason, we’ve launched a fundraiser, and we’re asking anyone who can to support us in this very important step.
