Hannes Huber is an Austrian Dhamma teacher with a solid background in meditation practice and training. He began meditating in 1985 with Godwin Samararatne of Sri Lanka and has extensive retreat experience in the Mahasi tradition with Ven. U Pandita and Ven. U Vivekananda, who authorised him to teach.
He conveys the teachings of this tradition with great fidelity while offering an approach that is accessible to a Western mindset, also drawing on his training in psychosynthesis with teacher Sascha Dönges.
He teaches Vipassana meditation in Austria and other European countries. Since 2022, he has been the spiritual guide of Pian dei Ciliegi.
